I am pleased to announce the expansion of services provided by the Children's Dental Clinic at SEARHC to all community members. Beginning Monday, April 27th, the clinic will be accepting all patients aged 0-20 at all of the SEARHC pediatric dental clinics.
Because the bacteria that cause cavities are spread from parents, caregivers, siblings and even playmates, establishing a dental home for children to receive care with the arrival of their first tooth or by their first birthday can help start good oral health care early. Keeping kids cavity free is good for the entire community!
While the main Children’s Dental Clinic remains at the Juneau campus, there are visiting Children's Dental Clinics planned for Sitka, Haines, Angoon, Hoonah, and Kake over the next few months.
