Since they often work behind the scenes, few people are aware of the critical testing laboratory professionals perform every day. April 19-25 is Medical Laboratory Professionals Week (MLPW) and a time to honor the outstanding and important work done by the SEARHC laboratory staff each and every day, as well as the more than 300,000 medical laboratory professionals around the country who perform and interpret more than 10 billion laboratory tests in the US every year.
